The Seven Chakras Awakening Retreat

DAY 01 / ARRIVAL AT CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – EARTH CHAKRA ACTIVATION

Upon arrival at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco, a representative and private transportation will be waiting to transfer you to the Sacred Valley. En route, enjoy scenic views of the Andes. You will be welcomed with an Incan Kintu ritual and guided meditation in the Pachamama garden.  Settle into your room, stroll through the Root Chakra Garden, and connect with the grounding energy of the land.

DAY 02 / SACRED VALLEY – WATER CHAKRA & ANDEAN CEREMONY

Today’s main experience is a guided hike to a sacred water site, where you will participate in a traditional Andean Water Blessing Ceremony. There will be time for an optional personal flower essence consultation before your restorative Yin yoga class. As the sun sets, return to the retreat for a relaxing sound bath by the water garden.

DAY 03 / SACRED VALLEY – FIRE CHAKRA & ENERGY CLEANSING

After flow yoga to move your fire energy, you will be invited to experience an authentic coca-leaf reading followed by an Andean offering “despacho”. You will release your despacho to the Andean mountain spirits “Apus” in an outdoor fire ceremony.

DAY 04 / SACRED VALLEY – HEART CHAKRA & CACAO CEREMONY

Start the morning with heart-opening yoga and breathwork. Later, take part in a sacred Cacao Ceremony designed to expand love and compassion, and an optional crystal bed therapy to align your energies. After lunch, enjoy personal time to write, reflect, or relax in the “Sonqo” garden.

DAY 05 / SACRED VALLEY – THROAT CHAKRA & EXPRESSION

Following an expressive yoga class, you focus on your Throat Chakra. Experience sound healing by an inspired local musician using traditional Andean instruments. There will also be an option for a Temazcal (sweat lodge) and cold plunge pool.

DAY 06 / SACRED VALLEY – THIRD EYE CHAKRA & VISION QUEST

You are now ready to open your Third Eye or sixth Chakra with an optional San Pedro ceremony or a vision quest to a sacred Incan Cave (may alternately be offered on Day five and sweat lodge offered on Day six). Walk through the Spiral Garden and witness the full expression of your inner and outer vision.

DAY 07 / SACRED VALLEY – CROWN CHAKRA INTEGRATION

DAY 2 | SAN JOSE – PUERTO VIEJO

Transfer to the South Caribbean, a place to visit the different beaches that surround it. Highlights include the coral reefs of Playa Cahuita, in addition to the multicolored sandy beaches (from black, yellow, and gray), coastal vegetation, and forests of medium height.  Don’t forget to interact with the locals and learn a little about their customs and traditions. Also, we invite you to try the Patí or Rice & Beans which will leave you with a Caribbean flavor to remember.

DAY 3 | JAGUAR RESCUE CENTER

The Jaguar Rescue Center, managed by the Ceiba Primary Forest Foundation, is an organization that rescues and rehabilitates wild animals to release them and return them to protected areas. During 2020 alone, for example, they received 803 animals, of which 363 were released, 123 remained in rehabilitation, and 317 couldn´t survive.

Approximately 50% are mammals and the rest are birds and reptiles. During your visit to the JRC Sanctuary, you will discover different kinds of wild animals such as monkeys, sloths, wild cats, raccoons, and reptiles, as well as different kinds of birds. You will also be able to observe many of Costa Rica’s venomous snake species. The amount of the donation for your visit will be invested entirely in the animals.

Transfer to Poas, where you will find the Poas Volcano National Park, which has one of the largest craters in the world and is in the mountainous forests of the Central Volcanic Cordillera. Along the way, you will see agricultural plantations such as pineapple and tubers, among others, until you start the ascent through the rainforest. On the way you will be surrounded by beautiful landscapes and views that will make your route a very pleasant journey, and that will accompany you to your hotel, located right at the foot of the Poas Volcano.

Today you will travel from San Jose by ground transfer, crossing the immense Braulio Carrillo National Park, to reach Guapiles. There you will enjoy a delicious typical breakfast. Afterward, you will continue driving past banana and pineapple plantations until you reach the pier where you will board your boat to Tortuguero. The boat ride along rivers and canals takes approximately an hour and a half to arrive at your lodge. You will be just in time for lunch! In the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided visit to the picturesque town of Tortuguero. Dinner is included at the lodge.

DAY 3 | TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast in the lodge. This morning you will go on a boat tour through the canals of the Tortuguero National Park. Called Costa Rica’s “little Amazon”, Tortuguero National Park is one of the country’s wilderness areas with the greatest biological biodiversity. The canals are surrounded by lush tropical forest filled with abundant wildlife, and the beaches are famous for being the habitat of seven species of sea turtles. A mid-morning you will walk along the lodge’s private trails with a naturalist guide and then have free time to enjoy the facilities. We highly recommend the nocturnal turtle nesting excursion (extra cost applies). Dinner is included at the lodge.

DAY 4 | GUAPILES – ARENAL VOLCANO

Breakfast in the lodge. Mid-morning you will depart by boat back to the main dock and then travel by ground transportation to Guapiles, where you will have lunch. Afternoon departure to La Fortuna, where the impressive Arenal Volcano awaits, one of the natural wonders of the country for its majesty. Today there aren´t lava eruptions, but you can still observe the smoke, and ash spewing out of the top of the volcano.  The Arenal Volcano region is an exquisite destination for its attractive landscape, its hot springs, and Lake Arenal.  During the transfer, you will see agricultural plantations, ornamental plants and cattle farms.

DAY 5 | LA FORTUNA WATERFALL – ARENAL NATIONAL PARK

We are going to visit La Fortuna Waterfall; a view of the 70-meter-high waterfall and a 600 meters hike to the natural pool at the base. (Bring swimming clothes, a towel, and special water shoes because of the rocky river bottom). Later, drive to an organic production farm near La Fortuna for lunch. At 3:00 p.m. the tour continues to the Arenal National Park, in here the tour guide will talk about the natural and geological history of the volcano, cross a path of solid lava and enjoy an excellent view over the volcano and Lake Arenal.

DAY 5 | VIDA CAMPESINA TOUR – ARENAL VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK

During the tour of the organic farm, we will enjoy a cultural activity of milling sugar cane in the troja of the trapiche with tasting of three different derivatives: cane juice, cane guaro and peeled cane segments. We will also be able to taste the fruits in harvest of the farm and receive the class of tortillas, where you will have to demonstrate your skills to knead and prepare the tortilla with the palms of your hands. At the end, you will be delighted with a delicious typical organic lunch prepared over wood and buffet style.

Later, the tour continues to the Arenal National Park. This tour starts with a short boat ride from the Arenal Lake Dam to the entrance of “La Peninsula”, this path will take us through the forest in the most recent national park trails area, and we will hike with amazing views of the Arenal Lake and enjoy the fantastic lookouts. This trail is special for birdwatching and nature photography. Then we’ll go to areas that were destroyed by volcanic activity and are now in the process of regeneration, a hike through the “Coladas Trail” will take us all the way to experience what no long ago were lava flows. Nature, geology, and volcano history are all in the hands of our professional guides.

DAY 6 | ARENAL – MANUEL ANTONIO

Morning departure to Manuel Antonio, a destination where you can find the Manuel Antonio National Park which is considered one of the natural jewels for its abundant diversity of wildlife. It is the smallest of Costa Rica’s national parks but also one of the most visited for its beautiful beaches. It has several hiking trails, viewpoints, and the chance to come across animals in their natural habitat.  At several points in the park, the trails branch off and lead to four separate beaches: Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio, Escondida, and Playita.

DAY 7 | HIKING TOUR TO MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK

The pace of this adventure is determined by the consensus of your group’s abilities and interests. There is an abundance of wildlife that you will want to stop, observe and learn about, all in their natural and awe-inspiring habitat. Watch sloths and numerous species of monkeys roam the treetops while hunting nocturnal silky anteaters and various types of non-venomous snakes resting in the rainforest. Listen to the songs of the various birds as they glide above their group, curious in search of adventure. See how many different types of flora and fauna you can spot in a 2.5-hour hike. If you feel like it, you can stop and enjoy fresh fruits and local refreshments while you pause to soak in the beautiful aesthetics. If you feel like it, you can take a side trip to enjoy pristine, uncrowded, untouched beaches after your guided educational adventure is complete. Learn about the history of the Quepoa Indians and Costa Rica’s past as it relates to this stunningly beautiful area of Manuel Antonio. DÍA 1 | LLEGADA A CIUDAD DE MÉXICO

Recepción en el aeropuerto internacional de la Ciudad de México “Benito Juárez”, traslado al hotel de su elección y alojamiento.

Por la noche disfrutará de una cena de bienvenida con tacos y una bebidas. Continuaremos la noche al estilo de nuestros famosos músicos, «Los Mariachis», paseando por la “Plaza Garibaldi”, el epicentro vibrante de su música. Se sumergirá en un espectáculo típicamente mexicano mientras disfruta de la música en vivo y se entrega al ritmo de la noche. Bailará al compás de las notas, haciendo de Garibaldi una experiencia auténtica e inolvidable.

DÍA 2 | CITY TOUR MÉXICO – TOUR DE COMPRAS

Desayuno. Visitaremos el Centro Histórico, Patrimonio de la Humanidad declarado por la Unesco, el Zócalo, en donde podrá vivir una auténtica limpia prehispánica que se realizan con el objetivo de alejar energías negativas, deshacer maleficios y hechizos, y atraer buenas vibraciones. Posteriormente, recorrerá de forma panorámica el Palacio Nacional y Templo Mayor Azteca, la Catedral Metropolitana, el paseo de la Reforma, el Bosque de Chapultepec, las zonas residenciales más glamorosas de la ciudad y la Zona Rosa. Este es un tour obligado para orientarse y familiarizarse con la ciudad. Comida libre.

Por la tarde, recorrerá uno de los centros comerciales más grandes con los que cuenta la ciudad de Mexico donde podrá explorar tiendas de marcas reconocidas donde se vende de todo: ropa, zapatos, libros, celulares, comida. Encuentrará un paraíso de tiendas, grandes ofertas en Walmart Supercenter, entretenimiento y mucho más hasta que se canse. Cena libre.

DÍA 3 | BASÍLICA DE GUADALUPE Y PIRÁMIDES DE TEOTIHUACÁN

Desayuno. 08:00 hrs iniciaremos nuestro recorrido visitando la Plaza de las Tres Culturas, donde se mezclan el pasado y el presente, de allí continuaremos a la impresionante zona arqueológica de Teotihuacán, donde visitaremos las monumentales Pirámides del Sol y La Luna, el templo del Quetzalpapalotl, la ciudadela y la avenida de los muertos. Almuerzo incluido en la Gruta. También visitaremos un centro artesanal. Al regreso a la ciudad visitaremos la Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, Patrona de América. Regreso al hotel para descansar y cambiarse.

Por la noche, aproximadamente 19:30 hrs, saldrá a disfrutar de uno de los mejores espectáculos de nuestro país, el mundialmente famoso Ballet Folklórico de México.  Una mezcla del México de ayer y hoy a través de sonidos y bailes de la cultura popular mexicana. Se deleitará con las danzas tradicionales Mexicanas, el colorido de sus trajes y la belleza de sus decorados; cuenta con más de 60 coreografías en su mayoría creadas por Amalia Hernández. Regreso al hotel. Cena libre.

DÍA 4 | TEPOZTLÁN – DÍA DE SPA EN HACIENDA MEXICANA

Desayuno. Por la mañana abordaremos la unidad para dirigirnos hacia el pueblo mágico de Tepoztlán, conocido como la cuna de Quetzalcóatl,  una deidad Mesoamericana que personificaba a las fuerzas cósmicas y era considerado el dios creador del hombre. Aquí disfrutaremos de un pequeño tour y posteriormente nos dirigiremos hacia la antigua Hacienda de Cortés, para disfrutar de una experiencia única que fusiona historia, tranquilidad y lujo. Reflexione en la serenidad de sus jardines, corrientes de agua cristalina y déjese envolver por la riqueza de sus tradiciones. Este día es para consentirse con 1 masaje relajante, además durante el día podrá tener a su disposición la alberca y el jacuzzi del hotel con 1 cupón de $300 Pesos Mexicanos para consumo en el área de restaurante y 1 para consumo en el área de la alberca. Por la tarde, ya con la energía renovada abordaremos nuestra unidad para regresar a la Ciudad de México. Alojamiento.

DÍA 5 | EXPERIENCIA MÍSTICA DE PEPE SOHO – RITUAL DEL CACAO

Desayuno. Participará de una experiencia sensorial única en su tipo donde el visionario artista Pepe Soho le invita a contemplar y conectar con los santuarios más impactantes de México, en un cuarto de espejos infinitos; emprender un viaje profundo a través del poder sanador y espiritual de los caballos; conectar con tu “Yo Profundo” para manifestar lo que quiere en la vida; adentrarse en la Selva Lacandona rodeado de escenas surrealistas y sonidos multisensoriales y, por último, ser parte de un homenaje a la naturaleza y transformar su ser con una experiencia inspirada en la mariposa Monarca.

Posteriormente, nos dirigiremos a disfrutar del conocido “Ritual del Cacao”, es una ceremonia espiritual que tiene sus orígenes en las tradiciones de las culturas Maya y Azteca la cual le ayudará a: abrir el corazón, conectar con lo divino, aportar claridad y perspicacia, acceder a la intuición y sabiduría interior, abrirse a niveles más profundos de amor propio y aceptación.

Regreso al hotel, tarde libre y alojamiento. Comida y cena libre.

DÍA 6 | SAN ÁNGEL – MUSEO DEL CARMEN – BAZAR SÁBADO – CHIMALISTAC – RESTAURANTE GIRATORIO BELLINI

Desayuno. Visita San Ángel ubicado al sur de la Ciudad de México con casonas llenas de historias y leyendas. Continuamos al Museo del Carmen, colegio monacal construido entre 1613 y 1628 por la orden religiosa de los Carmelitas Descalzos que hoy, a 488 años de su fundación, es un museo histórico que resguarda más de 80 piezas artísticas de corte religioso, cerca de 12 cadáveres momificados y un gran jardín que otrora servía como huerto para los frailes. Posteriormente, disfrute de una visita al Bazar Sábado, uno de los más visitados y coloridos de la Ciudad de México, el cual abrió sus puertas desde 1960 y considerado un centro artesanal por excelencia. Ofrece a sus visitantes desde la artesanía más fina elaborada con plata, hierro, cerámica, madera, textiles, vidrio, hojalata y yute, hasta pinturas. Más tarde, recorrido en Chimalistac, su nombre proviene de una población antigua prehispánica denominada Temalistac (cuyo significado es donde se talla la piedra de sacrificios) un viejo y acaudalado barrio donde se conservan los puentes de piedra y pequeñas capillas históricas con un fuerte aire colonial.

Regreso al hotel para descansar y alistarse para la cena de despedida en el famoso restaurante giratorio Bellini, localizado en el Centro Mundial del Comercio (piso 45) de la Ciudad de México, con una vista incomparable de la ciudad y su extraordinaria comida internacional.

Desayuno. A la hora indicada, traslado al aeropuerto para tomar el vuelo de regreso a casa.
